Turbos’ Rolling Hills and Spinning Wheels to Grafton (3Cb). Meet at Clifton Terrace (5 miles north of Alton on the Great River Rd.) at 8:45 a.m., depart at 9:15. Ride a 44-mile loop into the hills east of River Road Bike Path and through the back door of Pere Marquette. New improved route—only one Powerline hill. Eat in Grafton. Turbos’ Collinsville - Fairview Heights - O’Fallon Loop (4Bb) Meet at Cahokia Mounds parking lot at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. NEW RIDE! About 44 miles of varied terrain on a semi-loop from Collinsville through Fairview Heights and onto O’Fallon. Directions: From I-55/I-70 take IL Rte. 111 south (Exit 6a) then east on Collinsville Road for about 2½ miles to Cahokia Mounds. The Umpteenth Annual Holiday Night Ride. Meet at 5:30 p.m. at Kirkwood park in front of the swimming pool entrance. (Park sits in southwest corner of Adams & Geyer intersection in Kirkwood; enter from Geyer.) Leave at 6:00 to tour 15 - 20 miles of Kirkwood areas, depending on weather. Turbos’ Clifton Terrace – Jerseyville – Grafton Loop (4Bb). Meet at the Clifton Terrace Parking Lot on the River Road. Ride 43 miles with an optional seven mile loop into Otter Creek valley. Directions: I-270 NE, US 367 north over the Clark Bridge; follow the signs to the Great River Road. Turtles’ Six Flags/Shaw Nature Reserve Loop (3Ba).Starting point: Meet at the 6 Flags Holiday Inn (formerly Ramada Inn) parking lot. This is a "Fall Colors" ride created for the Tuesday Turtles! Don’t miss it! Directions: I-44 west, take 6 Flags exit (Exit 261), right on Allenton-Six Flags Rd . The Holiday Inn is on the left. Park at the far end of the lot nearest Allenton-Six Flags Rd. Turtles Ride the Rails(-to-Trails) of Madison County! (3Aa). Starting point: Horseshoe Lake. Ride a 32 mile loop taking in all or part of 4 rail/trails: the Schoolhouse Trail, the Glen Carbon Heritage Trail, the Nickel Plate Trail and the Nature Trail. Only 2 miles on-road! Directions: I-64/55/70 east across Poplar Street Bridge into Illinois, I-55/70 north to Exit 6A (IL 111), go north (left) about 3 miles to Horseshoe Lake entrance, left into park, then take 2ND RIGHT along the lakeshore about 1 mile to the end. Alternate: I-270 NE across the new Chain of Rocks Bridge 6 miles to Exit 6A (IL 111), go south (right) about 5 miles to Horseshoe Lake entrance (see above). Leader: Gerri Wright, 636-279-0013.

Turtles' Norm's Waterloo Loop (3Ba). Meet at the Wal-Mart in Waterloo, IL. Ride a 28 mile country loop around Waterloo with a few rollers. Directions: I-270/255 SE across the JB Bridge, exit Columbia Hwy 3 south, 9 miles (almost to Waterloo). At first stop light turn RIGHT on HH Road, then LEFT and RIGHT into the Wal-Mart parking lot.
