 1 Sept Tue Turtles (2Aa) and Turbos (3Ab)Creve Coeur Lake-St. Charles-New Town Ride

Sign in at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. Meet at Sailboat Cove on Creve Coeur Lake for an easy spin out into old St. Charles. For more mileage, continue on to see what's new out at New Town and beyond. Directions: From I-270, exit at Dorsett Rd. West 1.5 miles to Marine Ave. Turn right (north) on Marine for about 1.3 miles to Sailboat Cove entrance. Coordinator: Judy Meyer, 314-997-5005.

 3 Sept Thu Turtles (3Aa) Clamor to Culver's

NEW TIME! Meet at 9:00a.m. for a 9:30a.m. a.m. (Summer and the heat are over so we start later.) Meet at the Metroeast Park and Recreation facility behind Culver's on Horseshoe Lake Rd., Il Rt 157 and United Dr . Call your leader if you have not parked in this area before or see the May 5 instructions in the previous Gateway. Another great place to eat, another great ride on the bike paths of MCT Trails.  8 Sept Tue Turtles (3Ba) and Turbos (3-4Bb) Three Ferries Loop

Sign in at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. Meet at the St. Charles/Mueller Rd. Soccer Fields. Directions: From I-270 take MO 370 west past Hwy 94. Leave Rte.370 at Elm St./ New Town exit, north on Elm/New Town for ½ mile and turn right on Mueller Rd. to soccer fields parking lot on right. Park near the restrooms. Join us to see two states, two rivers, three counties, via three ferries (Grafton, Brussels and Golden Eagle)! Plus (optional) side trips to Pere Marquette State Park and/or Brussels for options of 33, 39, 41, or 47 miles. There will be small additional fees of $4.00 for two of the ferry rides.  10 Sept Thu Turtles (2Ba) Sail to Soulard

The usual Lafayette Park meeting place, Misissippi and Park, at 9:00a.m. for 9:30a.m. start. We will be trying Norton's, Schlafly North, Lleywellen's, etc. It will be worth your while to come along with us. Coordinator: Deedie Cote, 314-645-6978.

 15 Sept Tue Turtles (3Ba) and Turbos (3Bb)Howell Island No Big Hills West Loop

Sign in at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. Meet at the Windsor Crossing Church at 114 N. Eatherton Road which is 0.8 miles south of the Howell Island Conservation Area parking lot. Turtles ride 21 miles of rolling West County hills while Turbo options can extend ride to 33 HI - USA Gateway Council Calendar of Events miles. Directions: I-40/64 west of I-270 about 9 miles, Long Rd. exit veers left, R-Chesterfield Airport Rd, LOlive Street (Phillip 66 Station) which becomes North Eatherton Road. Drive about 2.75 miles to Windsor Church on the left at the "Landings at Spirit Golf Club" sign. Coordinator: Dale Wright, 636-273-9492.

 17 Sept Thu Turtles (2Ba) Gang Up at Grbnic's

Meet at Tower Grove Park, Kingshighway Entrance, at 9:00a.m. for a lovely city ride, starting at 9:30a.m. Prepare yourself for a Bosnian meal at the former Bailey's Dairy, now named Grbnic's and very nice (sometimes slow) meals.  22 Sept Tue Turtles (3Aa) and Turbos (3Ab)Portage Des Sioux Ride

Sign in at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. Meet at the soccer fields on Mueller Rd. in St. Charles, MO. Flat 38-mile ride (with shorter options) to the village of Portage des Sioux. We will visit Our Lady of the River Shrine and have lunch at Kilroy's Restaurant at the St. Charles Airport on the way back. Take I-370 west across the Missouri River into St. Charles Co. Exit at Elm St./New Town and turn right. Go about ½ mile and turn right again on Mueller Rd. Soccer fields will be on your right. Park near the restroom building.  24 Sept Thu Turtles (2Ba)Try for Adrianas

Guess whose ride this is? We are meeting in Forest Park , will have a ride around the area, and end up back at Tom's favorite place to eat in the world. It's Adriana's on the Hill. We will meet at 9:00a.m., leave at 9:30a.m., and if Tom doesn't get lost, we will meet at Adriana's on the Hill. Be there because Tom says it's the best lunch on the Hill.  29 Sept Tue Turtles (3Ba) and Turbos (4Bb)Millstadt-Smithton-Pleasant Ridge Loop

Sign in at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. Meet at Millstadt City Park. A pleasant 26 or 44 mile ride through rural Illinois from Millstadt to east of Freeburg and back via Smithton. Turbo option continues east past Freeburg up over "Pleasant Ridge" and returns via Smithton. Directions: Hwy 270/255 southeast acrossthe JB Bridge, exit Columbia/Hwy 3 south, right (east) on Hwy 158 about 7 miles, 2 blocks past VFW Hall, left on Polk, right on Kalbfreisch Dr. into the Millstadt City Park, park near restrooms.
