We are meeting at Lafayette Park, Mississippi and Park, at 9:00a.m. and leaving at 9:30a.m. for a ride perhaps up the riverfront and around but ending up back at the fabled Crown's for 12 slice bacon sandwiches and two-glass malts.  6 Oct Tue Turtles (3Ba) and Turbos (3Bb) Grant's Trail-Jefferson Barracks-Carondelet-Kirkwood Loop

Sign in at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. Meet at the Kirkwood Community Center. This ride will start on the extended Grant's Trail, pass through historic Jefferson Barracks, then into the city to Carondelet Park and on to Kirkwood for a lunch stop. Directions: I-270 to Manchester Rd. East on Manchester for about 2 miles to Geyer Rd. South on Geyer for 1.2 miles to Kirkwood Park/Community Center, park behind the pool. Sign in at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 start. Meet at Cahokia Mounds parking lot. Options for up to 44 miles of varied terrain on a semi-loop from Collinsville through Fairview Heights and onto O'Fallon. Directions: From I-55/I-70 take IL Rte. 111 south (Exit 6a) then east on Collinsville Road for about 2½ miles to Cahokia Mounds visitor center. Or from I-255 take Collinsville Road (Exit 24) west about 1½ miles to Cahokia Mounds. Coordinator: Susan Feldman, 314-822-3655
