Special Note: Since this ride in St. Charles County does not have a ride permit from the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department, the maximum number of cyclists that are permitted on the ride is 24. Depart at 9:30 a.m. (note the new fall starting time of 9:30 a.m.) from the Schnuck's parking lot at Lake St. Louis Blvd. and Hwy 40. Options for 36, 44, or 48 miles. Rest/Food Stop in Wentzville.  27 Oct Thur Lewis and Clark Boathouse Turtle-Turbo Ride.

Meet at the Boathouse area on Riverside and bonslick Roads (across from Trailhead Restaurant in St. Charles at 9, for a 9:30 start. Dotty and I rode from CreveCoeur Park to New Town today. The road by the Dog Park and Dusable Park is closed. I will not be riding on Thursday due to the road being closed and rain is predicted. If anyone decides they are going you will have to ride on Hwy 94, so be very careful because there is not much of a shoulder. You could possibly ride the Katy Trail from St. Charles past the closed road but you would have to walk your bikes off because the road is a mess at that spot.
