Meet at 8:45 leave at 9-- not if it's raining. Easy 30 mile from Kirkwood Community Center to Grant's Trail, Rainbow Drive(small hill), J.B.park, (rest stop) back on River Des Peres Trail or road, Weil ave.(medium hill)

Turtle and Turbos - Trails of Madison County Ride.
Meet at the Metro East Park & Recreation Bldg. in Collinsville IL by Culvers at 8:45 to leave at 9 for a nice shady bike ride.
Directions: From St. Louis east across the Poplar St. Bridge on I-70 to exit 11 (Collinsville exit). Continue north (left turn) approx.1/2 mile. Left on United Drive (Culver's on corner). Park at Metro East Parks & Recreation office on right behind Culver's. Coordinator: Gene Trost, 314-918-7104

Special Note: Since this ride in St. Charles County does not have a ride permit from the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department, the maximum number of cyclists that are permitted on the ride is 24. Suntan Beach to Portage Des Sioux.
Meet at 8, depart at 8:30 (another early bird ride) for 29 miles, with more miles possible to Hidden Harbor. Take Hwy 94 until it veers left and Hwy H goes straight. Take Hwy H to Tower Line (across concrete bridge) and turn right on Tower Line. Park on right at Sun Tan Beach. Billie Teneau at 314-291-7860 is the coordinator of this ride.

Sign in between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. at Pavilion #6 (next to the baseball diamonds) in the Millstadt City Park on Kalbfleisch Drive in Millstadt, Illinois 62265. Directions: I-270/255 SE across the JB Bridge, exit Columbia/Hwy 3 south for 4.3 miles, right exit up and over Hwy 3 onto Hwy 158 east for 7.1 miles (2 blocks past VFW Hall), left on Polk Street for 0.3 mile to the fourth street on the right (Kalbfleisch Drive), right on Kalbfleishch Drive for 0.2 mile to Millstadt City Park Parking Lot. Directions: I-70 west into St. Charles County, exit 5th street north for 0.2 mile, then right on Boonslick Road for 0.5 mile to the Boathouse parking area. Note there are no rest rooms available at the Boathouse parking area. Rest rooms are available at the Tourism Center which is located at the intersection of S.
