Special Note: Since this ride in St. Charles County does not have a ride permit from the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department, the maximum number of cyclists that are permitted on the ride is 24. Depart at 9:00 a.m. from the Lewis & Clark Boathouse in St. Charles for a flat ride to St. Peters, with an option to O'Fallon. Directions: I-70 west into St. Charles County, exit 5th Street north for 0.2 mile, then right on Boonslick Road for 0.5 mile to the Boathouse parking area. Note there are no rest rooms available at the Boathouse parking area. Rest rooms are available at the Tourism Center which is located at the intersection of S. Riverside Drive and First Capitol Drive, approximately 0.5 mile from the Boathouse parking area. Options for 30, 37, 41 or 49 miles. Rest/Food Stop in St. Peters. Sign in at 9:15 am for a 9:30 am start. Meet at Lewis & Clark Boathouse in St Charles for a flat ride to New Town, a great start the season ride. Directions: I-70 west into St Charles County, exit 5th Street north for 0.2 miles, then right on Boone's Lick Road for 0.5 miles to the Boathouse parking area. Sign in at 9:15 am for a 9:30 am start. Meet at the Kirkwood Community Center. This ride will take you thru Webster, River Des Peres, Carondelet Park, pass through historic Jefferson Barracks, Grants trail and back to Kirkwood for lunch. Directions: I-270 to Manchester Road. Directions: From I-270, take I-370 west into St. Charles County, right at Elm Street / New Town exit, north on New Town Road for 0.5 mile, right on Mueller Road for 0.4 mile to the soccer fields on the right.
